Jesus Christ

Who is Jesus Christ

Son of the Most High God

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of the Most High God. Matthew 16:16 The Lord Jesus was the only one born by God the Father himself and was called God and Father. Ps 2:7 John 1:1 Isa 9:5 The rest of the heavenly and earthly beings were created by the Lord Jesus and the whole material and spiritual world. John 1:3 God the Father of the Lord Jesus did not create anything by himself, but did everything with the hands of his Son. God the Most High, who is the invisible God, decided to give birth to His Son and make him God for the spiritual and corporeal beings who were to appear at a later time. He did so because he knew that mankind would need a visible God and a Father with whom to speak face to face. On the other hand, no one has ever seen the Most High God except the Only-begotten Son. John 1:18, the Lord Jesus is our God and Father. Why? For the Lord Jesus created us, and the Most High God begot him and made him God and Father for the rest of living creatures. For a child has been born to us, a son is given to us, and power will come to rest on his shoulder, and they will name him: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. Isa 9:5

Alpha and Omega

The Lord Jesus is the alpha and the omega. If the Lord Jesus is the beginning and the end, then no one else rules over us but Himself. I am alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him who thirsts freely from the spring of the water of life. The victor will inherit it all, and I will be his God, and he will be my son Revelation 21:6,7 Isa 44:6 This verse says that the Father of the Lord Jesus made Him first and last, and there is no one else besides him. The Father of the Lord Jesus exalts Him and I give Him full authority for ever. On the other hand, the Lord Jesus tells us that He is our God and we are His children. This is me and the children God has given me. Heb 2:13 And there is no salvation in any other, for there was given to men under heaven no other name by which we could be saved Acts 4:12 God the Father of the Lord Jesus tells us that He is not our savior, but His Son and His we have to listen. Mt 17:5 And Jesus came and said to them, All power has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Mt 28:18 From this verse we learn from the Lord Jesus Himself that all power is given to him in heaven and on earth. What could this mean for us? Only one thing is that our God is the Lord Jesus. That is why we need to understand who the Lord Jesus is for us, to know who really deserves honor and glory.

King of kings and Lord of lords

And on his garment and on his thigh his name is inscribed, King of kings and Lord of lords. Rev 9:16 Rev 17:14 And what can be said about the fact that the Lord Jesus is called the Lord of lords and King of kings. Why does the Father of the Lord Jesus allow us to call Him that? Have you ever wondered about this? This is because it was the Father of the Lord Jesus who exalted Him as a Leader and Savior Acts 5:31 The Lord Jesus is also called the sole ruler of Jude 1:4 Interestingly, the power of the Lord Jesus will be eternal. And he was given authority and glory and a kingdom to be served by all peoples, nations and languages, his authority with an everlasting, unchanging authority, his kingdom imperishable. Dn 7:14 Lk 1:33 The Lord Jesus is also the Lord of the Sabbath Mt 12:8
Do we need more evidence that the Lord Jesus is our God and Father, that the Lord Jesus is our Lord and King, that the Lord Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega? No more evidence is needed to believe and confess that only the Lord Jesus Christ is our God and Father, and the King and Lord forever.

Savior and Redeemer

The Lord Jesus is also our Savior, because only thanks to him we can be saved. One of the disciples of the Lord Jesus said: Therefore I bear everything for the sake of the elect, that they also may receive the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 2 Tim 2:10 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. 1 John 4:14 For today a Savior, who is Christ the Lord, is born to you in the city of David. Luke 2:11 It should also be remembered that we have no salvation in any other name. And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we may be saved. Acts 4:12 1 Thess 5:9 Acts 16:31 For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Rom 10:13 He will come as a Redeemer for Zion and for those who have turned from sin in Jacob, says the Lord. Isa 59:20 Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all unrighteousness and to cleanse a people for himself, zealous in good works. Tit 2:14
